Hi guys (and gals)!
MetroMojo.com is focused on geo-targeted social networking sites with a revenue model based on "freemium" services (free services with premium add-ons) and advertising. Our largest and most heavily trafficed site is LouisvilleMojo.com, serving ~250K unique visitors and delivering ~100 million page views (not hits) each month in our local area of Louisville, KY. You can visit our corporate site at MetroMojo.com to learn more about our vision, other city-sites and rollout schedule.
We're seeking highly targeted, QUALIFIED partners who wish to dominate their own local online community space with a premium, feature rich social networking site. i.e. take back your local, online eyeballs
The ideal partner for any given market would be a large alt-weekly, magazine or a daily newspaper. Due to the freewheeling nature of social networking though, an alt-weekly might be better suited to this sort of thing whereas a daily newspaper might not have the constitution for this industry.
A qualified partner must have the following attributes...
o The desire, time and resources to give to a new online venture - Mojo sites are independant businesses and to be successful, they must be run as a business, not as a sideline.
o A built-in vehicle to promote their social networking site (i.e. you currently own a paper, TV station or radio stations) or a significant budget ($60K to $100K) to earmark for promotion in your local market.
o The ability to capitalize on a locally focused social-networking site once it has reached critical mass and is ad-budget worth. i.e. you have a dedicated sales force in place
o In-house graphic design and internet savvy staffers who would be able to run their site entirely and provide graphics and services for potential advertisers.
o Preferrably involved in local events, concerts and festivals so as to combine the real-world flavor needed for a successful, local social networking site
NOTE: There are no up-front fees or leases, we're seeking true partners with the right ambition and resources who want to dominate their local, online community space.
If you feel this describes you, we'd love to hear from you. You can contact me at the number below.
