What I do see are truly determined individuals and companies, some large, some startups, some individuals, making a focused effort to win. If history serves as a guidepost, individuals with that drive have won in previous idate awards.
There are fierce battles going on in a few categories I see: Best Matchmaker, Best Dating Coach, Best Mobile Dating Site and Best Dating site.
For some of the most well known brands....*virtually no one is nominating them*. Their own staff, which numbers in the hundreds are not even bothering to nominate their own company. They are not even posting on twitter asking their own customers to nominate them.
The rules this year is its 100% open to the public for voting. Its easy to see people gaming the system, and its really not happening.
"You got to be in it to win it" ... you need to nominate yourself to win.
