I don't know if any of you have had a chance to check out this site, but it seems to be the most successful parent/teacher social networking site. They have a very high sign up rate.

When you get a chance. Check out http://holyfamily.myinfopage.com. Ask for a site for your child's school. It's powered by http://www.directoryxpress.com
