Greetings from the Flying Scotsman !
I'm wanting to know whether there are any official or unofficial plans to let our hair down either before, during, or after the conference. This naturally begs the question as to whether the kilt should accompany me to the conference !

What does everyone else think ? What normally happens after 'work' hours ? Does everyone just go off and stay in their hotel rooms for the rest of the evening (perish the thought!).

The evening of Sept 22 there is a cocktail reception at the hotel. There is also a 'beach style' volleyball court there and I was planning on a vollyball match between execs.

The night of the 23rd is a Surprise !!!

....sounds good, but will my kilt be appropriate ??? It won't be for the volleyball (although I'm sure it would certainly be an amusing spectacle, ha ha !).

The Kilt would be over-doing it a little. The dress code for the event is business casual.

But, this is Bohemia....anything goes here.

The thread above you is for Prague (2005)..... Not Amsterdam (2006)

There's no volleyball scheduled for Amsterdam (2006).

I see...but I just started preparing myself :)
Interestng how there is no bigger forum activity for a site with such traffic: alexa 198 000?

Maybe internet dating businessmen are not used to working on fourms....

This industry is different than most. A few things:

1) The message board is READ by the industry. Just look at the views of the threads and you will see that they read this board. Generally they don't post... That is not what surprises me. What does surprise me is that the VENDORS to the industry don't post. That is just plain dumb. The industry execs are reading the site. Its obvious. To not post your product or service is simply not to be noticed.

2)Alexa: Your rankings for InternetDatingConference.com are misleading. We have multiple domains pointing to this site. Examples are: iDate2004.com, IDate2005.com, iDate2006.com, etc etc.. OnlineDatingConference.com, InternetDatingConvention.com, etc etc.

If you do Alexa searches for each of our domains, you will get different results. The fact is we get higher levels of traffic due tothe multiple resources we have.

I saw it. I had to temporarily disable PMs as we have spammer issues with PMs
