Datingsites that actaully integrate social networks should be the key for the future or are social networks more or less datingsites already anyways.

What do you think?
What will be the next trend and what do the people look for now and in the futute?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts...

The bottom line is literally what matters here.

So far Social Networks have not exactly generated impressive revenues. They have huge traffic, but few are able to capitalize on it. Those that do so (usually for advertising) generally make minimal sums.

Social Networking so far seems to have value with large membership numbers to sell the company. But that is not a business model.

Online dating is a pure money maker, as long as you achieved critical mass and have a decent following. An online dating exec would go into social networking because, why? ...Its popular? For the exec, it means time and money spent on development and promotion.....with little to no revenue generated in return.

Hey, I could be wrong....that's the whole point of this forum....to bring in ideas and find better ways. So I'm all ears on this topic.
