A survey conducted recently by its Just Lunch, the major dating single service provider, unveils interesting statistics. IJL, which arranges dating single services for busy professional with over 100 locations worldwide, conducted the survey on 4,075 singles and came up with the following statistics:

• 49% of singles plan on joining a dating single service to transform their single status in 2007 against only 25% in 2006.
• 28% of the respondents say that they hold on to their resolutions every year.

A survey held by IJL in 2006 had revealed that almost half of all singles were focused on their career, financial situation and health. But, there seems to be astounding transformations in the priorities of these singles. It is really interesting notice that 71% of the singles have promised themselves that finding a date is their no.1 New Year resolution for 2007. Don’t worry if you don’t have date yet as the new year’s eve is coming around.

• 34% of singles said that they can hang on till New Year’s Even to find a date.
• 18% of singles have a date arranged by 1st December.
• 14% of singles said they would accept a date one hour before New Year’s Eve.
• 40% of singles consider that New Year’s is the best time for the first kiss.
• 27% admit that they have had the first kiss at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve.
• 46% of singles prefer to ring in the New Year on the town in New York, San Francisco or Las Vegas.
