Hello everyone,

If you do a web search in google, you most likely come across the bigger social networks such as Frienster, Myspace, Youtube, etc. The ones that have hundreds of thousands of registered users. I am willing to bet there is a lot better out there, but is just under the radar of the other dominating websites. I have found one, it is very straight forward and has a nice clean interface:

Please reply and post any social networks you know of that are "lesser known" compared to the giants... I'm interested to see what I find...

If not, I've seen some, my particular favorite is a lesser known service at Orkut.com which google grabbed up. The irony is almost 9% of the brazilian population uses it yet it didn't catch on in America, it's target audience.

Goes to show that online networking/dating has more to do with luck and timing than a nice site. Very Happy

Yup, you're right about the strange targetting. I found it strange when I heard most of Orkut's members were from Brazil when the service was intended for U.S. I think it all starts with a couple of users from a certain area (in Orkut's case, Brazil) getting on and inviting their friends to use the service, and so on and so forth. I'm interested to see where KONNECT Link goes... once again, check it out and let me know what you think... Cyruss, did you create that Christian Dating site and the others in your signature? I'm gonna have to check those out sometime..
