Paktor Has A New Friends Matchmaking Feature
E27 - Dec 7 - Singapore dating app Paktor, which is owned by M17 Entertainment, has released a new feature that will allow users to invite friends to help them pick the right match. Called Matchmaker, the mini-game allows existing Paktor users to invite other Paktor users or non-users to swipe on profiles with them. A minimum of three players - including the host - is required to initiate the game. All players are given 30 profiles to swipe and 10 seconds to make their decisions on each profile. At the end of the game, the matchmaker with the most number of swipes that corresponds with the host's swipes will be crowned the best matchmaker. The matchmakers will then send a randomised complimentary gift to that profile and break the ice. The recipient can then chose to respond to the host. Matchmakers can also track the user's progress with the match.

Here's Why Matchpool (GUP) Just Gained Close To 100% In A Day
GLOBAL COIN REPORT - Dec 4 - Matchpool had a highly successful ICO in April 2013, raising just shy of $6M with the goal of using the capital to develop a networking type platform. The company has launched an alpha release platform that looks strong and its market capitalization (or, more accurately, the market capitalization of the GUP token base) is rising fast. Over the last 24 hours alone, GUP has gained close to 100% and currently trades for $0.46 a piece, up from the $0.09 at which the token traded on ICO day. Matchpool is a sort of community type platform that requires users to be introduced to one another, with the person who does the so-called matchmaking receiving payment in GUP for doing so.

Ashley Madison Caught Exposing Cheaters' Private Photos
FORBES - Dec 7 - Despite the catastrophic 2015 hack, people still use Ashley Madison to hook up with others looking for some extramarital action. For those who've stuck around, or joined after the breach, decent cybersecurity is a must. Except, according to independent researcher Matt Svensson and Bob Diachenko from cybersecurity firm Kromtech, the site has left private photos exposed to a large portion of customers. Another issue was that pictures are accessible to anyone who has the link, even those who aren't signed up to Ashley Madison. Ruby Life chief information security officer Matthew Maglieri said the company was happy to work with Svensson on the issues. "We can confirm that his findings were corrected and that we have no evidence that any user images were compromised and/or shared outside of the normal course of our member interaction," Maglieri said.
