Here's is a simplified version of the award rules so are all known:

NOMINATIONS

1) Nominations are made at http://www.idateawards.com

2) Anyone can Nominate. You can nominate your site. You can nominate someone else's. All you need to do is type in the site name in the category. The site needs to actually do what the category asks.

For example: Best Dating Site must be some type of dating site. Any type of dating site is fine, as long as it is a dating site.

3) PLEASE: Make Nominations for all or as many categories as you can - In each of the 11 categories, you can make one nomination. You are allowed to nominate for all 11 categories, or as few as one. This can be done only once; you can't add nominations.

You can't can nominate a site for Best Dating Site, then go back to the site and make another nomination for Best Dating Site. You can only make one nomination to one category.

4) Members of the Internet Dating Executive Alliance (IDEA) also can nominate.
They are allowed one nomination for each of the 11 categories. They can nominate only one time.

5) Nominations end November 15.

6) Nominations are counted up. In order to serve the best interest of the industry as a whole and the event, nominations made by IDEA members will be weighed to represent 90% of the nominations, and the public will be set at 10%. This is done to prevent fraud. In each category, the top 5 sites with the most nominations will be official nominees of the awards.


VOTING

1) Voting is made at http://www.idateawards.com

2) Anyone can Vote. You can vote for your own site and/or others.

3) PLEASE: Vote for all or as many categories as you want to - In each of the 11 categories, you can make one vote. You are allowed to vote for all 11 categories, or as few as one. This can be done only once; you can't vote again or later.

AWARDS CEREMONY

1) The Awards will be distributed in Miami at the Royal Palm Hotel Ballroom on the night of on January 28, 2010 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.

2) Official nominees will be provided with one complimentary seat to the Ceremony.

3) Seats are also available to the general public, but are sold at $100 to cover the dinner and cocktails served. Seating is limited.

4) The Winner shall receive a plaque/statue and a banner for their site to state that they were the official 2010 winner of the iDate Awards.

5) Everyone will be merry.

Other Items

1) The Awards are run by iDate2010 and Online Personals Watch

2) Employees and relatives of iDate2010, Online Personals Watch or Moss Networks are forbidden to Nominate or Vote.

3) There are Legal Terms in the Terms and Conditions that give the right of the organizers to reject any application.
