Desktop Alert Systems eliminate logjam logistics such as unread slow or accidental spam-blocking of email, poor wireless phone signals, missed telephone voicemail and more. Desktop Alert is fully SMS/Email enabled too.

Desktop Systems also open up the potential for Scumware or Spyware in the industry. Users downloading a .exe file and installing on their machine? Its a dream come true for any operator that wants to monitor the traffic of a user beyond their own site.

There were some companies that would install and then redirect traffic sent to a competitor, or open up a window when a competitor's site was requested. They got seriously sued by Fortune 100 and got their rear handed to them....but their customers were also Fortune 100 at the time and were making hands over fist cash.
