I don't know which, but the first I ever head about a company called Friendscout24 was when they raised a charge of two instances of £17.29 each against my debit card.

I contacted them to complain, and to tell them to refund the money to my account, but all I got in return was an email in GERMAN!!

A friend who understands a few words of that language told me they were asking for my pseudonym and password in order to check the account.

I have neither, as I am NOT a member and have never applied for membership

Hell, I'm 77 years old and have been happily married for over forty years.

I can certainly ill afford to be robbed of such sums of money.

And how do I explain to my wife that a German Dating Agency has my bank details????

I still don't know if its deliberate fraud, genuine mistake or sheer incompetence!!

I know the executives at Friendscout24.de They are major palyers in Germany when it comes to online dating and your accusations certainly do not fall into the character of those that I know at the firm.

It is best that if you make statements like this you post your full name and allow Friendscout to contact you.

My other suggestion is to make sure check if the credit card charge is actually from Freindscout or it is from some other firm trying to look like its Friendscout. Either way you should contact the firm.

Another thing:

Do you have a file sharing program in your computer? Like Morpheus or some independent 3rd party music downloader? If so, you have a TROJAN HORSE in your system.

If that is the case, then guess what? They are watching EVERYTHING you type on that machine. EVERYTHING. Passwords, account numbers, bank details, addresses, emails.....everything.

Best way out of that is to
1) Back Up all of your data
2) REFORMAT the drive
3) Re-install windows
